Summer Fly Cream

Nettex Summer Fly Cream:  

• D.E.E.T based, non-greasy, readily absorbed fly cream
• Combined with Lanolin and Glycerine to keep skin soft and prevent from drying out
• Can be used around sensitive areas such as eyes, nose, ears, muzzle, dock, sheath and teats
• Ideal for horses that don’t like sprays

Directions for use:

Apply in early morning and again early evening if necessary, after heavy rainfall or if horse has rolled excessively.

Apply with a soft cloth or sponge by wiping over horses neck and body. This will prevent flying insect attack.

Suitable for use around eyes, nose, ears and dock avoiding direct contact with eyes and mucous membranes or broken skin.

Always patch test an area first and wait 48 hours. If a reaction occurs stop use immediately.

Do not apply during heat of midday sun when skin pores may be open from sweating as may cause a reaction.

Review

I have been testing this on my own horses this year and am finding it really good especially when I have the horses in the yards when the flies annoy them most.

I apply it 2-3 times during the day and am still only half way through the tub. It's really easy to apply around their faces for keeping those horrible flies away that land on hang around the horses's eyes.

Unlike a spray it's really good in the wind as it only goes where you put it.
